good morning! my name is christian stephens. i'm a recent graduate of grinnell college, where i studied computer science and history.

at mybambu, i helped build the qa function from the ground up. i eventually led a team of six engineers as a qa engineer manager, and later stepped into a technical lead role, where i coordinated product requirements, managed releases, partnered closely with developers on feasibility, and ensured our biggest features shipped smoothly. i'm currently exploring new opportunities in the qa and software quality space where i can put that experience to work.

i care deeply about reliability, automation, and the intersection between product and quality. outside of work, i'm a huge nerd for the history of internet culture and technology. i also love classical music—especially the works of erik satie—and i have a soft spot for impressionist art and modernist literature.
